ABOUT US
Working together toward a better future.
Our journey began in 2022, and we’ve been growing alongside our community ever since. With one simple goal: make sure no one in this community had to navigate hard things alone. Here’s how that turned into what CCSS is today.
OUR STORY
Est. 2022. Grown one honest need at a time.
CCSS started in 2022, with a handful of counselling sessions and a waitlist that kept growing.
We didn’t set out to build five programs. We set out to answer whatever the person in front of us needed — and it turned out that was rarely just one thing. So the list of what we do grew the same way most real things grow: one honest need at a time.
Today, CCSS is a federally registered not-for-profit running counselling, youth programs, senior services, and educational programs side by side. The shape has changed. The reason hasn’t.

OUR MISSION
Serve the community through counselling, essential assistance, education, and recreational activities, helping youth and families move toward a better, brighter future, not just get through today.
Community
We're not a drop-in service. Come back next month and the same people remember your name, that's how we've built every program, from Sunday school to senior meetups.
Respect
You don't have to explain your background to be taken seriously here. We start from trust, not screening, dignity shouldn't be conditional on paperwork.
Empowerment
Our goal isn't to be needed forever. It's to hand you what you need and step back, a coping strategy, a connection, or just somewhere to belong for an hour.
